This weekend was beautiful and instead of staying at home and addressing the things that need to be done in the house (finish Ivy's room, clean the kitchen, paint the stairway...), Kevin and I went for a long drive on Saturday afternoon.
We stopped for lunch in Baraboo and were pleasantly surprised to discover a fall art festival. Artists and craftspeople were set up around the courthouse square.
We opened the windows and drove along some country roads.
We stopped, briefly, at an apple orchard and rested with the honeybees.

Content and sleepy, we headed home and realized that the best views are sometimes found right outside your own front door.
