Sweet 16!

Happy Birthday, Edgar!  I can't believe that my once-ferocious, spunky, mischievous kitten is now a teenager.  When will this sweet 16-year-old begin asking to borrow the car?

Birthday update

This just in: for his birthday meal Kevin chose a walnut burger at the Harmony and a glass of Spotted Cow.  And, we were still in our pajamas and on the couch by 8:00, watching Mary Tyler Moore on DVD.  (What a guy - he lets me choose what we watch on his birthday.)  We turn into couch potatoes during rainy, cold weather.

Happy Birthday, Sweetie! I look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you and our little girl.

How should we celebrate your special day? Dinner at Buraka? Walnut burgers and Spotted Cow at the Harmony? Or shall we order a pizza from THE NICKEL, get in our pajamas at 7:00 pm, camp out on the couch, and watch Newhart on DVD?

Welcome to the world, Baby Kai!

I already love you very, very much, Precious Kai.  Some day I promise to dance and twirl with you under Finger Lakes skies, but until then I'm sending my love to you and your parents in Corning, NY.   I can't wait until I meet you in person and hold you in my arms.  I'll tell you about all your wonderful parents and how much I miss them each and every day.
